I look at my life and the believing brothers and sisters around me and I wonder, are we challenging and rescuing the lost from the Godless culture that surrounds us or are we blindly participating in it?

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.  Romans 12:2

I've had a xanga almost one year.

I want to work in my garden.  I'm feeling selfish and I could feel grumpy if I let myself.

Take every thought captive.

Yesterday while I was weeding the yard a car pulled up.  Out stepped a lady from our church, she said, "I have something for you".  Now our church had the first annual ladies retreat Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and I got to go briefly Thursday night for dinner.  While I was there I took a guess at how many glass bead were in a flower vase.  I did this as scientifically as I knew how and guess what?  I won the prize.  Which was what the Lady interrupted my weeding to bring me.  Now guess what I won?  A guitar, case and all! Do I play?  No!  Have I always wanted to learn?  Yes!  Will I?
